Didn't want to join a compressor site to ask question so figured someone here might have answer . Just want to be able to fill tires to 115 psi when needed . Not into air tools or anything like that . Is it better to have 21 gallon -2.5 H.P. -125 PSI or a 10 gallon -1.5 HP - 150 PSI . Actually prefer the smaller tank if it will be ok . I drain tank after each use . Weird how some of these baby compressors have a higher PSI and lower HP rating .

You need the higher pressure.

Yes the 150 psi

How fast the compressor recovers is important when filling truck tires. Look at the Cubic Feet Per Minute rating as well as the others specs. Otherwise, it will take forever to fill a tire.

Kind of figured that the higher P.S.I. would be better but the lower H.P. was throwing me for a loop . Thank you .

There is a good balance that you need to find for what you are going to use it for. My compressor has a second regulator, that I can set the line pressure where I want it. I can clip on the air hose and it will only go to where it is set at.
