I need to replace the AC drier on our 1993 Peterbilt 379 Sleeper. As you can see in the picture there is a moisture indicator and the line splits to to go the front and Sleeper evap coils. I can't get the nut off the drier on the left side (it's rusted and just twisting the metal).

Can I block off the line to the Sleeper and bypass that moisture indicator and hook the drier up directly to the line that goes to the front evaporator coil?

Wow, that's ugly! If the a/c works, I would never touch it. As you can see, those lines are completely rusted and will never survive disassembly even if you heat the fittings. A/C fixes like this can be like kicking over a stone and finding a scorpion due the chain reaction of parts you have to replace because once you ruin a line you have to keep replacing the next part and so on.
