    On International. I've removed old one, and there was no o ring. I've installed o ring with new cartridge and it seems to work fine. I'm assuming that whoever installed it just forgot, but is possible that o ring is not needed?

    Sure you didn’t miss it? Might have 2 o rings on it now. Common mistake changing oil and fuel filters. So I’ve heard. Lol.
