Hey! I'm looking at Air Liquide! Can you please tell me how much they pay hourly ?? Is there overtime available ?? What's the schedule like? I'm gonna shoot for Pittsburgh or Etiwanda. I have like six months tanker experience and want to know what to expect.

Why doesn't anyone talk about compensation? How much do they pay? Numbers?

I'm going to give it to you guys short and sweet. I've been working for Air Liquide for a little over 2.5 years.
We get paid miles and stops and event pay I.E--Delivery...Load...Delay...Layover.. Etc. What that translates into is 1200-1700 per week and about 75K per year.
No driver gets hourly. Period.
As far as hours worked, it's a grueling schedule to be honest. There will be occasional breaks here and there but expect at least 60+ hours per week most of the time.
Quarterly safety bonus of a few hundred dollars after taxes.
Health Insurance and vacation pay are just like everywhere else, Average. We get a handful of personal paid days off per year to use for whatever.
The job is good but you will put a lot of hours in. After a while it's just normal. You will be home most days with the occasional layover. I like it and I have no plans to leave.kbarttt Thanks this. -

So I saw where the had a number of openings. In Houston but witch job is best bulk or nitrogen pump

The Pasadena (Houston) Bayport yard runs liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon and co2, and also tube trailers with various gases.. Hydrogen, helium, and breathing air.
I was a bulk driver and I did all of those things. It was a good gig with very good pay.
Good luck. -

It just wasn't right for me. It's way better then pretty much any trucking job I've had since 1990.
I'd say that you should pursue it. If anything, you will gain extremely valuable experience or you may stay forever.
Take care. -

I only know about Air Liquide. Everything I know is on the forum here. There isn't anything else I could tell you in a private message.
