Just wanted to know if anyone has air ride on their 20k steer axle and if it works and more importantly does it last without destroying the air bags??

Having the big floats on the front end would make it squirrely as heck. IMHO

No. It wanders enough with the floats. I wouldn’t want to add to that.

Thanks for the heads up! I saw a Texas Truck Dealer put them on a new Peterbilt Truck with a 20k steer axle and was wondering if it was reliable and better. Looks like whoever buy that truck will find out the hard way...

    cke and Oxbow Thank this.

I've had multiple winch tractors with loadshare air ride on the steer and if anything they were more stable than the ones without even with floats. I know it's not a true air ride system but could be looked into to help with weight transfer and ride.
