Yeah - Railheads are dry in the east now as well. Pretty quiet. P'bably stay like this until March - but who knows - I'm throwin' around the idea of going to Smithers to work the freeze over until spring. Just a thought so far ......

Hey Nate, have you looked into taking a leave of absence? It leaves an option open while not quitting.

Jeez - Yeah - Don't quit ! I don't know your particular collective agreement, but most, in our business, usually offer up to 13 months without loss of seniority ( or juniority  )

Hmm might be something worth considering but me and the terminal manager had a small fight about dispatching and I found out him and the safety guy are becoming the head dispatchers since the other lady who was super nice just quit. So who knows.... Things are pretty bad out here.... There losing there yard apparently next year, can't afford to fix our trucks with new parts. Instead I got 2 leaking hydraulic cylinders. Lost the account at kal tire so they were asking me to put stuff on my credit card and I've been trying to get coveralls since I've started lol.

Whoa whoa ...... Like Nitrogen said .... who are you working for now ? And be careful what you put up on-line. If you're still working for who I think you're working for, and that means some Union involvement, then there's a problem with this whole credit card thing. A big problem. Anyway, this is deviating from the thread topic, so I'll end it here. Maybe you should PM me about the rest.

Lots of readers scratching their heads over 'wiggle' jobs right now .... any readers from Australia, or with small kids, are thinking a 'wiggle' job probably requires you to wear either a yellow, purple, blue, or red shirt at work !
