This is straight off the Saskatchewan section of WorkRights.ca website. If they want to pay your OT once a year I would tell them to F$&@ off and I would find another job. Why work overtime if you don't get the benifit of the $ every pay period?

Are there any exceptions/exclusions to hours of work?

Yes. Different hours of work rules apply to the following groups:

    Oil truck drivers
Work hours are recorded for one year. Any hours over 40-after taking into account work weeks that are less than 40 hours-are paid at time and a half on July 1 every year

Yep, don't be scared to hold your ground. There's plenty of jobs for a guy with the desire to work.

    High employee turnover:

    Poor attitude/lack of loyalty/unmotivated
    Sloppy/unsafe/unaware
    Untrainable
    Jump ship for $2/hour more
    One winter wonders
    Complainers/whiners

It can be brutal for employers. Plus, we have to put up with these guys as colleagues.

No surprise hirers are cynical about applicants.

Update!!! Well I just got out to SK and have my courses set up for after the weekend. I talked to the guy on my way here and he still said the 25% of the load..and guys are making 7grand a month.. So I guess I'm gonna have to have a sitdown this week and figure out the details because he's gonna have me start as soon as I have my tickets... Any questions I should be asking at out sitdown?? ThanksWell enjoy your weekend everyone if you get one.Cheers..
