Good move, that is how you do it, pay cash for that first truck and don't look back. Mine was an old Volvo White, with a little Cummins... Made money with that little gal right out of the gate, she served me well for quite a few years, never did anything other than a set of tires and service. They don't make them like that anymore. Best part, no payments! When I wanted to take a week off, or a month, I did! And no worries about a bank or finance company calling. Just like today.

I could part out and scrap the *** thing for $8k.
