Anyone have any experience with the Alcoa Dura Brights or the Accuride Accu Sheild and where to buy? Using 24.5's.

I switched to new accushields in February and very happy with them so far .
I dont think are as bright as a professionally polished standard wheel but very close .
They have been caked in calcium and salt with no pitting or etching and look new after a wash.
Got good trade in on my old wheels too .
Good polishing is hard to find now and pricey..and who has the time ?

They are pretty good overall, they do not shine as bright as a polished wheel. However, you don’t need to put in the time or money to keep polished. They will last a good 6-8 yrs before needing sanding and polishing. After 6-8 yrs they get a yellow tint to them, you can either buy new ones or sand off the coating and high speed buff them back to life.

Neighbor had the alcoas on his last truck, and they actually gave him a new set of wheels when the finish started messing up.
Our trucks take a beating on the roads we drive on, the accurides have worked out fine on the drives, but some have had trouble with them breaking on the steers, then again, some guys can break an anvil with a rubber hammer too.

    bzinger and Bakerman Thank this.
