On this episode of Bull Racks Behaving Badly...
bryan21384 and mjd4277 Thank this. -
Anyone with 1 eye and half sense knows if you piss in the middle of those roads they are knee deep and trouble for 2 days. Knowing the country goes a long way there. Same as out around garden city Scott city etc. Another example of GPS getting a m’fer in trouble.
Cow hauling was hard to get into till 10 years ago. The market and social media suddenly made it to where any fool could buy a trailer and be in. So these foolish cattle haulers you speak of are dry van wanna bes that got no business in a truck to begin with. Another example of stupid commenting on stupid -
Is this comment directed toward me?

Don’t blame me, I’m not the one who laid the truck over on a prohibited road in the middle of nowhere and pissed off the locals at the same time!
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
I’m saying the tried and true cow hauler would not have either. Pulling a cattle trailer makes you a livestock hauler. Cow hauler is an entirely different species. For the record if you call yourself a bullhauler your ####in gay

No I’m addressing the stupid ### wanna be’s that give good ones a bad rap. The county is in the right. Thing is if a driver has 1 eye and half sense he knows not to get on that road after a rain. But Google Maps……again pulling a livestock trailer does not in any form equal your a cow hauler. Cow haulers got more sense than to get into that. We will back out till we can turn around. Not cause an F’in sign says but because we’re smarter than to get in that messdrvrtech77, Bud A., jcatel and 1 other person Thank this.

My favorite thing about cow haulers is that they won't take #### from other vehicles on the road and they drive fast.
One night on I-20 eastbound in Mississippi this idiot four wheeler couldn't decide what speed it needed and whatever speed that was it wasn't going to allow me to pass.
This went on for several miles with me trying to pass this fool as said four wheeler would speed up and slow down and not let my mighty 70 mph company tractor overtake him.
I uttered choice words and wished the Highway Patrol would come by with no luck.
But while again trying to pass this bozo I did spy another trucker approaching me in my rear view mirror. He was coming fast, too. Probably 80 mph or better.
Was it Super Ego? Nope.
Was it a reefer super trucker? Nope.
Was it a flatbed super trucker? Nope.
I grinned when I saw the excess chicken lights on the trailer and knew it was a bull rack coming full on.
No idiot on four wheels is going to play those games with a bull rack. No sir.
So, I got myself out of the way and I wished my four wheel friend good luck and I never saw them again. I could go back to driving in peace once again. -
All the old guys I knew growing up who hauled livestock (cattle, hogs, sheep, horses) were pretty serious and careful even if they were flying down the road. That may seem to be a contradiction, but livestock can and will die in the trailer, so time is of the essence. You can usually tell them by the way they check the stock in the trailer if they happen to stop for fuel while loaded. The old school guys literally run in to take a leak and run back out to leave. There are young "old school guys" too by the way.
Further, the hardest of the hard core "iron butts" I've seen or heard of were all livestock haulers. Run from Iowa or Nebraska to Montana and back in two days. I don't worry about them, I just try to stay out of their way. (Doesn't mean I want to take a 10 next to their stinky trailer though lol.)Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
