ok looking at some of these apps they want 10 years of past work history with no gaps and intense background checks in other words its almost like a govt job im just wondering if im hireable these are my stats

im 22 and ive bounced around jobs and have had up to a year of unemployment basicly because i really dident need to work i only did so i could have some spending cash ive had 6 jobs 1st one being a year next being 8mo after 1 year unemployed next being 2mo after 3mo of unemployment then 3mo after 1 year unemployment then 3mo no unemployment period then 9mo of unemployment which leaves me where i am now from march 06 till current

my mvr is clean except for i had got stopped for speeding and couldent find my newest registration the speeding ticket was removed from my record because i took the ntsi (national traffic saftey institute) class

education i stayed in school till 10th grade dropped out and never got my G.E.D but i did take an adult basic skills test and passed with 12th grade 9th month scores

so do you think that i am hireable and if its because the job gaps how would i explain that? im not completely sure i should just jump into this without being able to get hired otherwise itd just be a waste of time and govt money (state is paying for me to go to school)

When I started orientation for covenant transport they said they will not hire anyone who cannot read and speak english effictively. With me in orientation was a man who could not read english and could not communicate with anyone without spanish to english translation. Nice guy nonetheless.
Don't waste your time giving any kind of a reason for anything.
    just stick to facts.
I worked here, I was unemployed from here to here while I did odd jobs for friends and family.
I last attended school here and achieved the high school equivelency.
If you are recieveing a grant to attend driveing instruction then the state that you live in already knows that you will be hireable because they give these grants out all the time, to as many people as they possibly can.
Since the industry is so short of employees, the government will offer more and more grants to qualified applicants. You are certainly hireable.
just please take it nice and slow, careful and thoughtful that first year.
Don't drive yourself out of a career that in twenty-five or so years can let you retire quite comfortably. And before retirement can open many other doors to other oppurtunities. Good luck!
