Seriously just....why? Also the guy with the blue pete is a moron. For several reasons. If the trailer is that close to going and you cant save it. yoink the handle sans landing gear and let her fly. Its going to be trashed anyway and odds are good if the gear colapse it wont flip over and will be a MUCH cheaper repair and recovery.
Or ya know he could have jackknifed intentionally....or just checked any one of a dozen apps or resources -
Dust storms too. They just arrived in Dallas the last few hours.

I am a subscriber to Clime, Which shows wind forecast. I was driving with a side wind of 35 mph yesterday for quite sometime and much more ahead. Clime allows you to see a forecast of different weather events, which can help making a decision. I would rather go into a strong wind than have it push the side of my 13’ trailer. Those videos are awful to watch

My company's safety director showed us a video from the insurance company. Insurance company said 55 mph direct crosswind is sufficient to blow over an empty 53 ft van. Remember, forecasts are NOT guarantees. So pick a wind speed less than 55 mph as your personal limit and gusts frequently exceed forecasts. You won't keep your job by saying "but the winds were only supposed to be 45 mph, fire the weatherman, not me."
hope not dumb twucker, FullMetalJacket and Walk Among Us Thank this.
