Hi
We had to deliver to this loacation:
Amazon YYC1
293069 Col Robertson Way
Balzac, AB T4A 1C6
Went there on 9/29 for a delivery - arrived 30min prior to the appt. was told that live offload will take 48-72 hours and that my driver cannot leave the facility for food/water/restroom - he will need to put another body in the truck for him to leave - called everyone and no one was helpful - the site marked our tsatus as unloading - we left after 24hrs of waiting and I brought my driver home - rebooked appt.
Apprt was for 10/11 - got there 30min before appt. and they gave us a live unload appt. and same story - my choices per Amazon were:
1. Stay the 72 hours and wait now
2. Rebook and wiat then
BUT IT WILL TAKE 48-72 hours to LIVE offload... I changed out 3 drivers so no one was stuck - last 48 hrs the allowed my driver to get food (wooohooo) - I suspect 'cos I made a fuss
Anyone had this experience? We will not go there again - but I was told that I am lying and no one else is complaing and they are all wiating 'patiently' to be offloaded.
Who are these idiots who don;t know what a LIVE offlaod means and the person who speaks up is the liar...
If anyone has delivered here pls share your experience - am seriously lookin into filing a human rights violation - or any other suggestions are welcome
Why are we held hostage by such practices!!!!!

We pull exclusively Amazon freight and I have never heard of that. Although I got screwed once pulling an Amazon Canada Post load to Moncton, NB. Trailer sat for over a week before it was unloaded.
Did you book direct through amazon load board or was it a third party? -
Canadianhauler21 Thanks this.

Ya Amazon crazy like that. But that rule is bs, that’s guard shack idiocy. Made up bs
they don’t allow trucks to stay on their lots more then 1 hour. Not sure why they wouldn’t let yours leave after dropping trailer.Canadianhauler21 Thanks this. -

im telling you that’s not a normal rule. Did you contact your rep if you have one or ROC?
