Ran into a driver today that had some very nice ratchet binders. They have nice long teeth on the ratchet and the springs were strong. To my amazement they also said MADE IN THE USA on them so I looked them up. Company is called Columbus McKinnon and the ones I've found are about $60 each. Pretty pricey but look like they are very well made. Anyone got these or used them?? I have the durabilit ones now and found out they are only assembled in the US (say CHINA right on them) and they don't have very strong springs as mine have only been used a couple times and they are already needing to be held down to grab the ratcheting gear.

Don't let some guys fool you, the DURABILT binders are assembled in america, but they have "china" stamped right on them. I asked the salesman at tarpstop about it and he said they have always been that way
