That's nothing new, I think China has been harvesting human organs from prisoners for years, no? I agree with JC^^, can you imagine the horrors? My nephew had to have emergency appendectomy in Israel few years back. The stories THERE he said would curl your hair. I think we're a bit spoiled by US healthcare.

You mean those health insurance premiums that make a guy play the game of Risk?

It's crazy that my family of 5 through the 00's and early teens could afford a private policy for 350$ a month.

Now, late 40's, and the cheapest premiums worth buying for just me are over 20k$ a year, for coverage not even half as good as I had before.

I think he more means the quality. Cost or not america does have some of the best health care in the world. Not the cheapest by any means but very very good.

As for health insurance. This is what happens when you let big pharma run amok, put gotta pass em to see em style laws and allow or require people not paying into the system to be covered in full mixed with multi million dollar lawsuits over any even minor medical mistake.

As for the organs overseas. Id be worried the kidney i got may not have been volentarially donated. It would be one thing to get a prisioners organ. Dont think id feel too bad seeing jack the ripper broken down for parts. But id be worried in nigera a dude who borrowed money to feed his family got broken down for parts...

Preaching to the quior. Hell my mom got dumped by her insurance last year when the idiots at the hospital dropped her and shattered her leg and ankle and she had to have it fixed. And now any she goes to want $1900 a month for insurance that MIGHT give her a get well card god forbid help her.

The Mafia in Italy was, and still may be, harvesting organs from illegals that enter the country. Dump the bodies wherever; ocean, burial in the ground, pig farm.
How do authorities know this? People throughout the EU and some wealthy nations in the Middle East, that were on waiting lists for organ transplants, disappeared off the waiting list. Maybe they died while waiting? No, when medical authorities began looking for them, they are alive and well with a new organ. Needless to say; they wouldn't talk. A few bodies of illegals were found washed up on shore had organs missing. The patients with the new organs, of course, wouldn't talk about any medical procedures.

I didn't even want to start on that premium baloney, I was horrified to learn upon turning 65, I had to pay a health care premium. The noive of them. I paid premiums for 50 years, never had a claim, and they want me to keep paying out of my SS? While we may have the best healthcare, it's conflicting diagnoses that upset me. A neighbor had a really sore foot, you should hear what they told her, then a different doctor said something completely different. It's as if they are in kahoots and padding each others pockets. With that current quagmire, I could understand how someone who is desperate, and running out of time would seek other options. That, my friends, is pixx poor. The best part, is healthcare attracts people who really care, and not looking to maybe drive a truck for a year.
