An old man's career goes flat, Snackbar moves to open deck

Ok, now I have a question. Platform Science has a driver app PS Driver. Our company code is the letter p (and then the same 4 number company code as on the Peoplenet). I entered my driver code, then it takes me to a screen to enter my password (and it has my name at the top as in "Welcome Snackbar"...only it shows my real first name)...but I have tried my new PS tablet sign on password, my former Peoplenet password, I even added a p to my old Peoplenet password. No combination works. Does anybody know what they used as the app sign on password? It says you can do almost everything on the phone app as you can on the truck tablet.

 

Thanks...I wish they would show us this stuff in their so called 'training' class. I still hate Platform Science though.

 

Talked to Deland about the Platform Science app...they didn't even know it existed. Stopped in KC to have this trailer serviced (2 months overdue), have a tire with a nail in it replaced, and a mudflap bracket straightened (sorta S shaped and aimed up). Talked to the KC Platform Science person here (who is the same guy who was training to be a PS class instructor)...he had no clue, but said he doesn't think they have it set so we can use it along with the tablet. So much for being streamlined making our jobs so much easier . He asked how I like it. Told him if it keeps F'g up...it will be the reason I move to a quality company instead of this cookie cutter budget equipped seat-of-the-pants trucking experiment.

 

On today's episode of 'WTF is wrong with it today". Got dispatched on my next load. KC to Sealy, TX....800 miles and....no ####ing fuel solution sent to the Workflow. Not a 'no fuel needed'... No fuel solution period, I even requested a new solution, and nothing. So, unless the fuel solution program is down in the company mainframe, it doesn't seem to be receiving fuel solutions now. I even rebooted the #### thing. Still no bueno on fuel....so I guess I will just drive until I run out... Peoplenet at it's worst is head and shoulders better than this Temu special piece of crap. I bet if senior management's computers were this unreliable, they'd have IT working day and night fixing it.

 

It turns out, a fuel solution was sent, but the piece of crap didn't receive either the original or the new request. It did, however, come across the driver messaging in the Crete app.

Plus, I had to try a half dozen times to get the e-trip system to connect so I could scan in my delivery. If this downward spiral of this company's technology continues, I won't last until the end of the quarter.

 

PoS finally received the fuel solution sometime overnight. It wasn't there when I hit the sack, but woke up and checked, and it's there. And before anyone claims it was a communication failure...then if that's the case, why did I get all the load info and not the fuel stop? (Which happens to be Wilmer)
