Can someone point me to the rules stating I must annotate loading or unloading on eld. I'm not new to eld and in the past only has to annotate pre and post trip. This new company is telling me I have to annotate loading and unloading before I certify my logs.
    Thanks in advance

There are no regs that state that. Company rules can be more restrictive though.
The only time annotations are required are when selecting PC or yard move, or when the driver edits a record (On, off, sb)

The replies above are on the money. When JJ Keller came to train our drivers on their god awful ELD, the representative was questioned why the recall/history functions didn't include the notations fueling, unloading, drop and hook etc. He flatly said they are not an FMCSA regulation. Company policy.
