Another Accident Where Police Officer Rear Ends A Semi

I wonder if they'll do a drug and intoxication tests on him like they would a truck driver? Should be a pile a tickets to, distracted driving, failing to stay in lane, etc.

 

You mean like they will be doing (or did) to that driver? If a vehicle is towed, a drug test is mandatory even if the driver isn't at fault.

 

Years ago, one of our local Police officers was going (too fast) down a hill in town and spun out on some ice. Slid accross the road, went through a fence and ended up in someone’s backyard. Not a single ticket was issued. This crap probably happens way more often than any of us want to know.

 

I'm sure not and I doubt they'll care if he was tired either

 

So the trucker is guilty for the police officer not being diligent. Yup this world is going to hell in a handbasket.

 

the cop WAS very lucky, that the tandems were not more forward than what they were....or he'd could have been the, "headless cop"

Sounds like he was riding someone's butt in the left lane then dove right into stopped/slower traffic.

 

How do people not know they are driving on the shoulder?...
