    I wonder if they'll do a drug and intoxication tests on him like they would a truck driver? Should be a pile a tickets to, distracted driving, failing to stay in lane, etc.

    You mean like they will be doing (or did) to that driver? If a vehicle is towed, a drug test is mandatory even if the driver isn't at fault.

    You can bet that the truck driver will be drug tested & he was hit twice & neither was his fault.

    Years ago, one of our local Police officers was going (too fast) down a hill in town and spun out on some ice. Slid accross the road, went through a fence and ended up in someone’s backyard. Not a single ticket was issued. This crap probably happens way more often than any of us want to know.

    So the trucker is guilty for the police officer not being diligent. Yup this world is going to hell in a handbasket.

    the cop WAS very lucky, that the tandems were not more forward than what they were....or he'd could have been the, "headless cop"
