What suspension does your truck have? What’s the ride height supposed to be?Siinman Thanks this. -
Ride height isn’t something you just eyeball until you think it looks good. And that rod from the valve to the axle is the only way to change it. Hopefully shifting the blame onto someone else will work for you. It would suck to end up in court if the shop tells you to pound sand.Bean Jr., rollin coal and Siinman Thank this. -
Bean Jr. and Rideandrepair Thank this.

When it like this your axles will not flex.. you have limited traction even when bob tail it’s worse..
Believe it or not big trucks are agile and they need all the parameters correct to perform correctly..
I believe that this plays a role with aerodynamics.. I can be wrong
however.. me mentioning to the mechanic that the bags are to high should have let him understand that I have concerns.. he clearly saw I was pulling a special trailer also that was a particular “ height “
and yes when your bags are over inflated you can HIT a bridge !
Being under a time sensitive load is different from having a regular load. You must move breakdowns cannot stop you unless you have no other options.
10 gear was grinding.. not my other gears
so that means I could move the truck..
I don’t like these forums at times.. people don’t comprehend well with what you tell them.. you have to bash them around first and then they want to know what you been through..
If you were taught to be a mechanic that’s one thing. if you are a driver that’s another thing.
However I will like for everyone to relax now.. because there is a language barrier
I shared my experience and people have incorrectly addressed & shared there opinions.. with out fully understanding
For example I say stretched wheel base and some numb nutz believes I altered my truck just so he can say a stupid answer..
To that person.. you are Wrong.. the wheel base is the way the manufacture designed it.. looks bad ### to -
Don’t take a picture to show off sounding dumb.. do the correct motions
hook up to a 30k load and pull it with your bags inflated to the max..
Ride height blah blah blah
you sound uhh..
Who did the work?? You answered your own questions.. tell your mechanics that ride height is not something you can eye ball..
I QUOTED YOUR RESPONSE.. WHO DID THE WORK.. me or the shop ???
who is your response for ?? The mechanic or me.. if it’s for the mechanic I apologize truly!
if it’s for me.. ? You know the answer and the motions of a middle finger..

pretty universal for trucks unless it is a HD axle setup.
if he wants to flip me off, go for it, I’ve been flipped off by famous people a few times which makes this more entertaining and it doesn’t change the fact that all of this time complaining about the answers he is getting, he could have used it to fix the problem, -
Yes I’m just a driver, but when I was running older trucks it was up to me to keep them on the road. And I have many years of hauling livestock under my belt so no need to preach to me about time sensitive freight.Siinman, Humbretrucking, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this.
