    In Washington State

Swift, Celadon, Schneider, Maverick, or Roehl?

Don't like to job hop, and want someone who will really show me that pretrip, since doing it right will help me from having problems later.
Prefer destination schooling, because I like immersion.

Also a chick, and a tad more intrested in safer conditions than top pay before earning my dues. Mostly want solid education.

Had a Class B and drove bus before, enjoyed that window as my office, but let the physical slide.

Anyone care to toss their opinion of which one to go with?

    Thanks.

What color truck would you like? Seems like all them companies are owned by a extended same family so they are mostly the same. When you get close to deciding find a few drivers and ask many questions.

    True enough, I hear.

Still like a solid foundation though, for as long as possible.

    Thank you.
Heard Palmer was actually swift, and the training had become sloppy since the take over.

I'll look into Jones. I appreciate the addition.

    Color, huh? Hmmmm.

I know these are the big names.
There is an overwhelming amount of information out there.
    This is the shorter list.

If I knew a good smaller, reliable company around here, I'd consider them.

    That's a layer to why I posted.
I'm not going to wander into a truck stop and ask questions, unfortunately I'm afraid that would probably be misconstrued, so I came here to do some information fishing.

There's no connection whatsoever between Swift and Jim Palmer.
Swift and Knight merged and now under Knight management.
Jim Palmer and Wil-Trans are owned by the same man. Wil-Trans doesn't hire on the west coast.

Whoever said that was likely thinking of Prime. I drove for Tennant out of Colona until it was sold in 2015 to Earl L. Henderson, who had some kind of arrangement with Prime. I picked up a Tennant trailer from Henderson's Caseyville, IL yard and it was full of Prime trailers. I have since seen Palmer trucks pulling Prime trailers as well.

Why not look at TWT or System Transport? Very good company to work for. And you’d be home quite a bit with TWT.
