You keep putting the onus on the lot, again, why wouldn't you have stopped? To me this is just one of the differences between owning and driving.

It was a learning experience. I was fortunate enough that I only ended up paying for a tow, in return for that little lesson.

I am complaining about the lot, yes. It is a craphole. I do not think anyone would claim otherwise.

That said, yes, I was the one that drove into the hole. Because I have driven through that exact same hole before. It was an error, and one I will certainly try not repeat again. I will definitely not enter that particular lot again when the depth of the potholes is not clearly visible.

Google maps shows that first eco-block off the street (to the right of his truck, probably just forward of his trailer tandems) has a clear "truck entrance" sign on it.
Pic is from May 2012, so maybe it is still there, maybe not.

Driving into a puddle of water of unknown depth?
    I’d rather eat yellow snow.

I assumed the hole was not too deep, as I have driven through it many times before.

Bad decision. I was fortunate not to have damaged anything other than my pride.

Yep, that place sucks and I know that parking lot. I was there today to scale a load. Yes, it is a "hole". The good news is, I saw when leaving that they filled those meteor sized holes with gravel and graded the lot. No, I didn't stay there..moved on to Spokane.
