Did anybody else hear the part where she said if he gets out on bail he can still drive a commercial vehicle?

 

That is absolutely absurd…he shouldn’t be allowed to at all

 

I wonder if that's a law everywhere that isn't well known. This is why I always question every politician/senator/congressman everywhere. In what world would this become law and why?

Yes but let's compare the standard. Say you run your own numbers and you are on the road awhile and/or you miss some mail and you forget to do something on time like get a physical, file your 2290 or one of many other taxes/fees/permits. They just pull your license. There is no time frame to find out if you are guilty or why. They just put an instant halt to your ability to make a living.

Or if you're a cop or many other occupations and you are involved in a shooting, scandal, whatever. Instant paid time off until resolved. They don't let you carry on as you were.

And the elephant in the room. He ran! Innocent people don't run and hide.

 

Not to mention he’s illegally in the country and shouldn’t even have a cdl much less any driver’s license

One article i saw said he tried to get an Uber to pick him up from the scene, but was rejected.

 

$185,000 seems like a really low bail for multiple charges involving fatalities and fleeing.
