    They are built by Navistar. The engines are Navistar or Cummins engines painted yellow. With Navistar closing so many American plants I bet they are made in Mexico.

    I talked to a Cat technician in our area and he said they aren't getting too much work from them so that is a good thing lol!!!

    I'll bet the engine emissions system is crap ! After the 08 debacle and then pulling out of the market why would you trust them ? Any other manufactures heavy chassis has to be better........

    The new Macks for one.....

    Yes they are, I'm working with 3 new ones no problems so far. The cat truck is a warmed over paystar 5000. LOL
