Just curious what's out there. A plus if they hire out of Peoria/Bloomington, IL area and have something other than Freightliners or Internationals.
Any good reefer companies with guaranteed weekly pay?

Just feeling deflated. Had a load that would of paid $250, then a guy hit my truck while I was parked as he tried to back into the space next to me. Peeled back the tool compartment and now there's a hole straight into the space under the bunk. They took me off the load but told me it was "okay to bobtail home." I still need to put my time in at the current company, but curious if there are any reefer companies where I wouldn't lose money due to someone else's stupidity.

Arguably one of the best (if not THE best) gigs in reefer.....is DOT Foods:
Careers | Dot Foods Careers
They have MORE THAN ONE facility not far from Peoria--so you could well be in luck.
Now, for the BAD news: because they are so good, they are also pretty picky.
Most applicants get turned away....for one reason or another.
They do hire beginning drivers....it just depends.
But in your case, I would try them, first.

Don't know if they are good or not but Hirschbach. Is out of Dubuque Iowa they have a weekly minimum pay. From the emails they send me they have a bunch of extras on there trucks. Apu, inverter, wifi and so on.

I see Continental Express has guaranteed pay on their dedicated accounts. Anyone know anything about them?

How much experience do you have?

Is there a specific reason why you need to drive a Freightliner or International?
