I didn't get any bites over in the inside scoop so I'll ask in here. Any info. on Gibco Motor Express out of Evansville, In. They run end dumps and dry bulk, I've see a bunch of different trucks but they are all banana yellow.
Any info. on Gibco?

Well I got some info. on Gibco Motor Express, at least info. about the St. Louis terminal. They are out of Evansville, Indiana but, have terminals all over In and some in Ky, Il and Mo.
They just moved into the Stl location within the last year and it is a dump but, the area is where all the trucking companies are around here so they are all pretty run down. They run Freightliners, Macks, Sterlings, Western Stars and Internationals from what I've seen with Mack being the most prominent. The trailers are Mac, East, Ravens and Vantage, all frameless and all in pretty good shape. The trucks, however, are junk. Most are close to 1 million miles and that is a good bit for local day cab trucks that are all pretty much 2006-2007. The trucks run 24/7 365 in not so great areas and boy can you tell. At this terminal, coal is 98% of the work so the trucks are filthy on top of falling apart. I hear the terminals in Indiana have nice trucks so I can only assume that St. Louis is where they send the trucks that are about due to be traded in.
The pay is hourly and a little low with no overtime but, the work is steady and you always have two consecutive days off. Most of there hauls are dedicated so you just ask the boss what truck you're driving and you won't see or talk to him again until you come in the next day, thats always nice. Overall, not great but, not too bad. It's a steady paycheck at least. -
Any idea what they pay per hr?
