    Losing loads with brokers using Highway?

    A buddy wasn't able to book 3 different loads last week because he's pre eld, and Highway wants ELD access

    I had a broker I use quite a bit ask me for it and a copy of my title. I told them that's a no go for me. They pushed it on through, that time.

    Anybody else running into this?

    Ive yet to run into this.... I dont know if highway has changed recently but I think ive used it once in 4 years.....

    Yeah, seems like 50% or better of brokers I'm not already using are using them for setup.

    With all the apps out there to track their freight, now it's one more flipping thing. Cripes. No I haven't run into it. Sorry that you have had too.

    We ran into highway quite a bit lately making connections. We just tell them to go hop in the lake. I am pre ELD plus I'm not giving them all the BS they want.

    Yeah, I wont budge there. So far hasn't been an issue for me, but I bet it'll hit me soon since I work with so many brokers

    They want ELD access/ that’ll tell a broker a lot more info than what I’d be willing to give.

    They want a load tracked? No problem, they have 2 choices, pay me for tracking my phone or do it themselves by placing a tracker in the freight.
