Would like to avoid any doctors out to save the world by finding reasons to fail drivers.

Also, want one that will let me have another shot at passing the BP check if it is a bit high.

Looks like most charge $100 max. Is that accurate?

Looks like Med7 and TeamCME are the main ones in Sacramento.

And lots of chiropractors for some reason?

    rachi Thanks this.

I have never had a physical where the place did not allow me a few minutes to relax and retake the test. My best advice to you is to make sure you are relaxed that day. Do the physical early in the morning and stay away from things like coke and coffee for a few days. I just recently spoke to a driver that takes ISOSORBIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, and METOPROLOL SUCCINATE. He listed all 3 and got a one year physical.

Don’t drink any caffeine the day before and the day of your physical. Also take some Bayer aspirin beforehand if you’re worried about your BP being borderline.

What I don't understand about dot physicals is at some places they want me to drop my pants and others dont.

Chiro practors are good. Also check CVS pharmacy. Some have "minute clinic" which do physicals. The doc should only do what's on the long form. Some will try to do a prostate check, but just kindly decline and point out it's not on the long form. If you're going to be in this biz, KNOW everything about it.

I've done all 3 of my DOT Physicals at a local Nexcare Urgent Care Center. They were done by a Nurse Practitioner all 3 times. 15-20 minutes max. Was never even asked to step on a scale. They just asked my height and weight. About 100 bucks. Always got a 2 year card.

    The CP at the 49er ... Think he's $75
He'll do walk-ins, but preffers an appointment.

There are sites that rate doctors. Find one with poor ratings, barely hanging on to his license and no doubt pass you with flying colors just for the cash.
