Big 2nd! I went through 4 last year. A buddy of mine bought one of those Walmart mini fridges (for college dorms or studio apartments) 6 years ago. Depending on the size, they cost between $80-160, the bigger ones having a freezer too. I know you said 12v, I'm just throwing out another option as these things own the 12v setups. You will need a power inverter to run this...then again you will need a bigger inverter to run a microwave anyways sooo...

This is exactly what we did. 875w power inverter. Fridge only pulls 160w running full blast. Got ours at Sears, and it has a small freezer compartment. Now we have an APU for the microwave, so that wasn't an issue for us. Just use the plug provided with the APU.

Hubby has lost 7lbs in the last three weeks, eating much better now, staying out of the truck stops and the fast food.:yes2557:

See if you can find the Igloo brand. The way I understand it, the Coleman burns the 12v plug up, or it melts. Some wiring issue within the construction.

well i have been through 3 or 4 in the last 12 -15 months and they won't replace them. Next one that goes is it for me. I won't continue to support a company that won't stand behind there products. I have not been able to find the igloo. I had one of those several years ago and it lasted for a about 3 years.

Check at the Pilot in Grand Island, NE.
Also you can google them and find the igloo company on line.
