My hours have really dropped and I need to find a new job, anyone know if Apex Hesperia is good, bad or just average? I'll settle for 40 hours at this point.

You should look at Genox they have a few local drivers based in the high desert. It's cryogenic work so real laid back, I know they just hired two new guys that help us out when we are busy down in Santa fe springs.

Nobody has brought up apex in a long time. Last I read on here was a a few other bulk drivers saying they were the SWIFT of dry bulk.
All I know is they spam Craigslist about 3 times a day 24/ 7

I was curious since they went to hourly pay how things were.

I was at Nevada DMV and they had ads on the TV in there! Wonder if they spend as much on drivers as they do ads. NM, I know the answer to that one.

I would look into Double Eagle or USA before I touch Apex. But what do I know.... absolutely nothing about powder. Strictly skateboarding here.

I retired from thew Navy way back in 1990. We moved to Las Vegas NV where I took a road test for Nevada Fly Ash. We left town around 9:30 that night with a load of gypsum rock. It was an ok tractor pulling two trailers. Down to Cal. we went. Dropped the load at a huge cement plant right at the bottom of the mountains out of Hesperia then blew on some cement and back we went. Got to Vegas and dropped our load and I thought we were done. Drove 70 miles miles out of town to back load the gypsum rock. We got done around 2:00 that day and was paid $80. I said no thank you.
