I am looking for a company that runs tankers in the Midwest. Found a couple of drivers from Schwermans who have had good things to say about this company. Anyone have experience or second hand knowledge about them?

If you know of another decent company out of the Midwest please let me know.

I have a years experience now and am trying to relocate.

    Thanks!

Hi! Up in the search box, type in, "Schwerman Tankstar". There will be several threads available.

Which terminal are you interested in. Some are union & some are non-union. All the terminals are different & some haul liquid or cement or dry bulk or all three. The union terminals will have Teamster benefits and the non-union will have Tankstar benefits with the 401K. Some terminals are very well organized and professional & some are not, but overall, Tankstar is a good company and can make a very good living there. Did you look at the Tankstar website? Many of the drivers complain constantly, but the turnover is extremely low & many retire from Tankstar.

Also, take a look at :
    Bulkmatic
    A&R Transport
    foodliner.com has 3 tanker divisions

All these companies have Midwest terminals in their terminal inventories.
