there are a few places that have self service cat scales, where you drive onto the scale, and insert your credit card and out pops your scale ticket and reciept and you are on your way.

    1) hooters restaurants inside
    2) cigar lounge
    3) massage therapists
    4) garbage cans next to each spot so drivers won't throw piss jugs on ground
    5) idle air but with a better window adaptor
    6) better pizza! Seriously
    7) fueling assistants. We pay 300$ plus so yeah....its warranted.
    8) complimentary window wash
    9) complimentary tire air checks
    10) better showers with strong pressure and hot water
    11) sauna and steam room
    12) weight room

Haven't tried it myself yet, but it seems like the CAT scale app is what you want, as long as you're OK with an E-Mail of your ticket.

The electronic version doesn't count as a certified weigh though. You still have to get the printed copy to cya if you're really close. Might as well just push the speaker button if it's a heavy load. A self service printer would be ideal for that app so you didn't have to wait in line behind 6-7 guys cashing checks and buying snacks.

Tell me more about these electronic cat scale tickets. I don't have to weigh very often, but at the place I do most frequently the tickets end up getting scanned and emailed. If I could skip the step of waiting in line, I'd go for it.

Edit- Just looked. Of course I can't pay with my Comdata card.

if its on the internet or over the cb then there can be no doubt about that its true. nobody would use the cb or internet to post false information that would be unethical.

Check out the site. They print off the scale ticket inside, so if you see it's a tight load, go in and get the ticket.
