Just curious with the "DOT Blitz" going on, if any of you guys have gotten inspected?
The only scale I've drove by this week was the Van Wert, Ohio scale on US30 today, looked like about 4 trucks out back with orange stickers in the window... Couple of service trucks in the lot doing repairs...
I'm assuming the orange sticker means OOS? Wonder if that's just a Ohio thing or does every state do that now?
Anyone get inspected?

I've only seen 1 open scale house and there were no inspections going on.
MN, KS, MO and IL in the past couple days. -
That's a hot spot for getting pulled over as are the rest stops further East. -
Decided to sit out and work on my truck at home this week.. These blitz things are nothing but revenue generation... Somebodys got to pay for those fancy dot pickups.

I take the detour route most of the time from Ft. Wayne when heading towards Dayton, 469 to 27 then onto 33... Your right that's a hot spot and that scale doesn't have prepass or a bypass lane.chimbotano, 4mer trucker, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this. -
Here in Houston the DOT blitz is 365 days a year.
