I am thinking about adding these to my truck? Are they worth it or do anything for you? Will be factory order on VOLVO VNL 860. Would love to hear feedback on these.
Anyone have front axle air bags?

Do not get the front air bags. Order the stabilizer set up instead.
Siinman Thanks this. -
Buses have had them for years. I never had a problem with springs. Rough ride generally comes from behind your arse.
feldsforever, Siinman and homeskillet Thank this. -
I had them on my last Volvo. Didn't. Ike them the body rolled to much on corners or in heavy wind
okiedokie, feldsforever and Siinman Thank this. -
I had them on a 2015 FL. Man, the first time one of those blew I about had a heart attack. I did not like them.
Speed_Drums, Dino soar and Siinman Thank this. -
I had a 2013 vnl780 without them, a friend still has a 2014 with them, he did have a leveling valve go out but other than that no issues and his truck did ride a lot better in the front end than mine. He has never complained about roll, but volvos are bad for that anyway as the cabs are really isolated and the suspension does move around a lot. It took a bit to get use to but it was, hands down the quietest smoothest truck I ever drove.

I have it on a 579pete and wouldn't want a truck without it now..

I had them on my vnl 670 Volvo factory Hendrickson. In 4 years replaced 6 bags. One blew out when parked sitting empty in parking lot. Others on the road when driving. I was at the point of replacing the whole axle to spring ride and doing away with the air axle completely. Sure the air ride is nice but 200 a bag and 120 for bag replacement at a TA. It's a pain in the ###. Skip it and it sways badly if at proper ride hight
feldsforever and Siinman Thank this. -
okiedokie, feldsforever and 401-Alex Thank this.
