I went there back in 1999 and my hubby went through there in late 2007. You learn the basics, and that's about it. Not a bad place to go. I've heard of worse. Behave yourself around Red and Jerry!
1scooby Thanks this. -

Hey, Scoob, I'm 90% I will be attending there starting January 3. Seems like it's not the best but far from the worst. Also seems like you don't get a lot of behind-the-wheel time and maybe even none loaded. Im going to call some carrier recruiters tomorrow and see what they have to say about hiring grads from there, will post more about what I find out.

As long as you pay attention to what their teaching you and ask questions if you don't understand something, you'll get the basics. -
I went rhrough there feb 2011. Did the weekend course. It worked for my purpose. There are 5 companies they push now. Swift werner ho wolding pine hill. Can't remember the 5th. Red still emails me for updates. Probably because I got a localgig after 4 months with swift. Looks good to potential students. Had fun on the range a couple of times. They put the truck in spots and told us to backup. Jerry wasn't there though. Positive experience. Serves a purpose and major carrioers accept them.

Make sure that they are an accredited school. You also may want to check with your local DMV to see if they have any info about them. Another option would be to talk to a few company recruiters to see if they are familiar with them or if they do any hiring out of that particular school.
