I live with my bf in scotch plains, NJ.
My bf is unemployed and entered Smith & Solomon truck driving school. Within the first week he got his permit, he passed general knowledge, air brakes and combination. Also plans to go for his Hazmat.
But Smith & Solomon's yard is over crowded. They keep enrolling people when they don't have enough trucks or teachers available to teach all they enrolled.
My bf gets maybe 20 mins a day on the truck and the other 7 hours is spent waiting and watching others.
His unemployment ends this month and he needs to get his cdl license faster than the school can provide.
We can offer $10 an hour to someone in our area who has their own truck and a place to practice.
Is anyone willing to teach him for extra cash??![]()

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Anyone in NJ with a truck willing to teach? $10 an hour.
