This is probably a bump but.
Does anyone know a good interior shop that can do a Volvo truck? Somewhere near or around Chicago area? Maybe Illinois or surrounding states?
I got a 2015 volvo that is making me crazy with water leaks all over! Drip stains everywhere. I feel I want to tear entire interior out and redo it.
    Thank you!

If it's YOUR truck, do just that. Keep in mind that you will sell it one day....

We are currently in the process of making the studio sleeper more amenable to our needs. It will be done in a manner that, if we sell, it will be appealing to a prospective buyer.

I second this. I just bought another truck. I looked at alot of trucks. Most were modified, some made me think WTF w
ere they thinking.....as I moved on.

Edit: they were otherwise nice trucks. I just didn't want to deal with having to buy a new to me truck, then have to tear out and completely redo the interior.

Unless you fix the leaks you're wasting money.

I'm doing it...lol. Having custom stainless or aluminum cabinets made for the interior. Goung to use the existing closet door for a closure, it will just be horizontal instead of vertical. Taking out the top bunk, going to have a folding bottom bunk fabbed, then have a folding table made to fit between the side boxes. Will probably move bunk hvac unit closer to the back wall to make wider seats. Insulating the entire sleeper with R-3 closed cell foam board and, finally, designing a 'range hood' to evacuate cooking vapors.

Here are a couple pictures of the cat box vent I rigged up. Of course, taking out the top bunk means a redesign of this, too. 20210206_203225.jpg 20210206_204124.jpg 20210206_204529.jpg

I want to do a good microwave, fridge, sink set up on one side of mine.

Maybe even use some of the top bunk space.

I'd love to get one of those ARI's, but you can almost get 2 brand new trucks for what they want. Plus the 280 WB would make some places a challenge, but I think I could make it work. 232 or 242 still much better suited for where I go.

An indoor cook would be nice. I have a Hibachi with me now.

@Dave_in_AZ meet the newest member of the truck family, Memphis. Diohgi wanted to play with every abandoned cat at every rest area but they wouldn't have anything to do with him, so we got him a buddy from the Lubbock animal shelter.

This our (current) refrigerator/counter/stove setup. I mounted the countertop to the fridge on ball bearing slides.
