Just got to thinking, that would be an AWESOME JOB.
Would get to make lots of money as well as meet lots of COUNTRY PEOPLE.
Anyone know who hauls bulls for PBR?
And how to get into them (not now but eventually... just accepted another job so can't hop right away).
Thanks...

guessing probably the owners of the stock....

Stock contractors usually have their own trucks. Most of the ones I've been around have one of their full-time cowboys drive for them. It's a lot easier to teach a cowboy to drive a truck than it is to teach a truck driver how to handle cattle.

Correct!!!! The contractors transport their own stock, plus once there, the drivers take care of the bulls with the PBR staff. Some of these bulls are worth over 6 figures, so you'd better know what you are doing. Plus, there isn't much time to hang around either, once the bulls are done, they are loaded and gone, some come in the day before, some the same day of the show. There isn't much time for socializing either. -
I interviewed for a driving position with the PBR a while back and really wanted the job. BUT they wanted a truck driver and a PR rep all rolled into one.

No wonder PBR tastes like cow piss...
Cowmobile Thanks this. -
