Hi, my names “Jyp…Z” whatever’s, I am seeking maybe a reference beyond some job listing conglomerate that would actual information I can expound on. Have my permit and most endorsements-but due to life and whatever responsibility I’ve yet to account for I was not able to keep up hrs and or skill set with the course I was in and am in search of viable sources to attain accreditation to hopefully result in my *class a license in hand… I have apprenticeship opportunities with Teamsters next year, but to solidify my spot and go into This extended CDL, like training with enough skills and ability oh my time there would hopefully be spent increasing these traits rather than trying to figure out the basics. Basically, I don’t wanna make a fool of myself, and I really want to do a good job. A community college I was at had a government grant-I am currently - adamantly trying to not have to resign to being so now that I got my health and bearings in mind. I am determined to find a job in the industrial field which Just recently, I found I was not too old to pursue three days. After that knowledge I had my flaggers two weeks I was in class. All and all I am serious But in that same notion, my income is very limited. Is there anyone out there who may have a company in mind or a website I could Peruse… my thinking is my best next best anyways chance would be to find a company that would train I have heard of these slogans they have not been able to find any Specific company To inquire with so here I am at 6 AM kind of at a loss usually be getting up for school right now Right now I just be happy for some direction. Sincerely, me…p.s. I did not recommend the aforementioned method for getting some drive time under your belt… I just honestly seeking a way to salvage my schooling, but in hindsight, I can see why the truckstop frowned at my Proposal(s) smirk! Apparently it’s not kosher to “solicit”a trucker for some drive time…

Try to finish the school you're in right now. The school is for getting a cdl then you're first company will teach you the rest, how to drive, etc.
tscottme, Flat Earth Trucker, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
More and more women are going into the trades now and doing well. They're doing the same trades men are; carpentry, electrician, plumber, and a dozen more. Many are also becoming truckers. A formal education isn't what it used to be.
Deere hunter, Flat Earth Trucker, born&raisedintheusa and 2 others Thank this. -
Some women are specializing in trades such as automotive electronics. Automobiles today are very complex and specialists are needed to work on them.
Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
If you are looking for something that will help your skill set and earn you some money while you wait, look into driving a spotter somewhere. Chinatown can probably help you with that.
Anyone can drive a truck forward. The "skill" is the backing up part, and driving a spotter is ideal for that.
Just a thought. Good luck. -
That is an excellent idea thank you very much and you're correct I was rather well in a tiff some about being let go from that class but like I said even for stuff I wasn't able to take responsibility for and or whatever general circumstances the fact was at the time I was not at the same level as my classmates so by that black and white standard them having me leave was legitimate... Tho the situation was not that black and white... I did learn how to do a backwards offset shift double clutch and shift down way further along in this process than I was when I started it and that was only after two and a half hours of legitimate finally looked it up on YouTube how to adjust my seat to top forward real driving... And the safe kind. I've done so much work to get to that point as all you guys know (and gals, just saying people are so sensitive these days...geez!). And until I'm told absolutely no it's impossible ain't going to happen I'll probably still try again, smirk. If anything just so I can like I think I mentioned before in another spout of trucker forum time, I'd probably be a very useful skill especially when the zombies come. Wink. Thank you so much for everyone's responses I'm absolutely shocked you guys read that but I'm grateful that you took the time have a killer day and the roads are easy ( or at least fun!) l8er Jyps
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Apply with a company that trains for CDL and can also run teams for awhile.
Don't say anything about past failures or you probably won't be hired.
May not even have to mention you attended a cdl school and it didn't work out.
You weren't an employee at the school, so it won't show up on employment history. -
