Hopefully someone will be able to help with this. Our office is based in Florida. Our trucks are in Wyoming hauling water. Our trucks have apportioned plates through the state of Florida. We recently purchased a vacuum trailer and are now trying to figure out how to register the trailer. Any thoughts??

Thanks everyone. The problem is that the trailer is in Wyoming and titled there. But the state of Wyoming won't allow us to register it because we don't have a truck registered there. I guess I will look into Maine. Thanks!!

Most rental trailers seem to be registered in main. Like Xtra Lease trailers.

Don't bother with "out of state registration", it is only done to save money, not time.

It is really simple ... Just get the title to the trailer sent to you via FedEx overnight, present it to your DMV so you can transfer it and register it with them, get the plates and send it back to the driver who has the trailer vie FedEx overnight - problem solved.

I've done this a few times and never had an issue.
