I'd like to advise everyone of what has turned out to be an awful APU. Parks Industries HP2000 looks and sounds like it would be a great apu. Mine is less than one year old now (2/15/15) and it has been nothing but trouble ever since day one. They are made in Marion, IL and have a very limited number of service dealers that can work on the thing. The first week I had mine the entire muffler and exhaust pipe literally broke off from the vibrations. The next week a ground stud breaks. Then a fitting works loose and let out all the Freon. The a/c compressor went out last week. When the thing works, it works darn well, but it stays broken more than it should and the factory shop is not particularly good at repairs or customer service. The whole company shows no concern for you and what you have to do and the expense it causes you to get by their shop for repairs. I'm pretty well fed up with mine and I recommend going with a company that has plenty of repair shops along your routes. APU's are known to be troublesome so a company with service facilities all over would be highly recommended. Just my advice for you folks out there.
APU- Parks Industries APU......BAD BAD BAD!!!
