What if they are a Mexican company or based out of Mexico? Would CSA 2010 rules still apply? Canadian drivers do you have issues with these rules or if you get a violation does it only affect your Canada license?

When in the USA, you comply with the USA rules.

I understand that but if a driver with a Canadian license or Mexican license gets a violation in the US, does it go against his home country license or just recorded for USDOT? i.e....speeding ticket in US, demerits on Canadian license.

I believe it's reciprocal, since Canada and USA acknowledge each others registration etc.

Because FMCSA buys, owns, and installs the equipment FMCSA also owns and has total control of the data. When it comes to an accident, and a friend or family member of yours is involved, who do you want to have control and ownership of the data?

The cops, etc can get the data that's needed. I don't think we should be footing the bill for the Mexican trucks to have the EOBR's. They can pay for those themselves.
