I take these, one each, anytime physical labor is involved, such as hooking up a set of doubles or reaching for a beer from my recliner. My signal to stop drinking beer is when my wife walks over to the recliner and ties a bib around my neck.

yeah, but i have been on BP meds for a long time, and i cannot take meds the doctor advises against.

and some of those Herbal supplements may have dyes in them that messes with me.

as far as beer drinking, man, i just had a 12 ounce bottle, and only drank about half of that.

i cannot find those mini Miller 8 ounce bottles here anymore.

I currently work for a regional chain, they have a private fleet delivering to (mostly) their own stores. Trailers are loaded by the warehouse, I unload at the stores with an electric pallet jack. A lot of walking and sometimes my thumb gets tired if the jack’s “go” button is hard to push :D

I’ll just say if I were suddenly looking for another job, I’d be looking at LTL companies that don’t pull doubles. Maybe I’d go doubles with UPS or Dominion if I could get on full time with a line-haul bid.

Previously I pulled chemical tanker over the road. Not bad, even if I had to unload.

So I’d also think about local fuel or chemical delivery, but I’d probably choose chemicals over fuel (not a knock on fuel delivery, my preference for chemicals is only because I’m familiar with it and likely off weekends and holidays)

I’d also give private fleets a lot of weight in the decision, air gas, Praxair, etc. Wally World would be off my list because of the OTR aspect, but if you don’t mind being a little bit OTR I’m sure it’d be a good choice.
