Are there any companies out there that are using end dump trailers to haul frac sand in? I’m in the DFW , Tx area and the rates out here for hauling aggregate materials have turned to ####. Any insight would be great thanks and god bless.

I can't say I've ever heard of that before, at least up here. Do you run your own #'s? Might be better off hooking up with a place that runs boxes. A good company should be around 1000 shift minimum

Yes I do run my own numbers but I’m not satisfied with what I am making. Several years ago I heard of drivers hauling frac sand on end dump they would drive over a metal grate and dump the sand on the grate, then a conveyer belt would move the sand up into the silo.

I know a lot of companies switched to the boxes. Were pulling sandbox boxes. Look up Resource transport in Dallas area. We don't work for them but they're a decent company.

Lots of places are getting away from open-air proppant unloading due to silica dust concerns, quality and overall waste. The boxes are the new wave, even Halliburton got in on that with their own chassis and boxes. Everything else I've seen is pneumatic, at least on the well sites.

It blows literarily how the pneumatic sand hauling is fading away that’s where the money is at. I don’t know anyone making any kind of good money hauling sand box’s. It’s just not worth beating up your truck, to run sand box’s in my opinion.

Less wear and tear on engine with sand boxes. Easier and faster. The lease roads will still beat up the truck either operation.

You guys have bar lease roads down there. Up here they are pretty decent for the most part
