Are there any training companies that don't make you run teams?

I heard Mavrick doesn't. Came straight from their recruiter, but we do know they are not always truthful.

I started with a company and the recruiter said teams don't start till week three. I got there and they started running us as a team day 3. Day 1 we got to shipper at 10pm. 2am they are calling us to pick up our trailer.

There will be a lot of things you don't want to do but might have to.
Can't really help you with a company that don't start off in teams. I know there are plenty if you have the experience already.
My company makes you run team for like 5. Months or certain miles.
When I started they couldn't find anyone for me so I was solo for 4 months. It was kind of brutal. I did teams later and did not like it. I then did mentoring and it was kind of better but knowing what I do now. I wish I had a team mate from the start at least for a short period. So do the team get it out of the way hopefully you get a good one. Then you can go solo.

I just gotta keep an eye on my trainer. He's too worried about saving my hours. He woke me up at six am. Kept me in sleeper berth till after we made two drops. So my day started at 6 am. We made two drops. Got loaded and I drove till my final five minutes on my clock which was 130 am. I was ready to get a bus ticket home after that.

It's his job to watch your hours. Could be he's milking you, or maybe he cares and wants you to get your hours in. Beating a new driver is like making sure they can deal with what's to come. Take advantage of your time with him.
Don't get in his face either. I've seen trainers kick there students off on there last day cause the trainees didn't show them respect. And they had to redo the whole training with a new person.
If your tired your tired. Remember he can't force you to do the work but you Wana make sure you understand everything he's teaching you.
