My brother didn't ask me my opinion about England, til he told me why he went with them (age...was afraid he wouldn't get hired). So I told him that he needed to do his time and leave....which he is in the process of doing now. Gave his 2 weeks notice, got one more trip and then they've not called him. He is fine with that as he had things to do around his place and cataract surgery today.

After he got thru training, they put him in "Recovery" and he did make .35 cpm or $125 for the day he spent flying + plus expenses. What is recovery? It's where he would drive or be flown to pickup abandoned tractors or trailers or both. In 6 months, he rescued over a 10 tractors, 8 trailers and 2 tractor/trailers. That doesn't sound like much, but in that fleet he was told that there were over 50 "Recovery Specialists". If they all did that, 500 tractors is a lot! He was also told that there are 10,000 + England trucks sitting in North Dakota. I don't know how true that is, but it wouldn't surprise me as the pay is far better in the oil fields. Besides me encouraging him, they messed with his pay twice and they were bugging him to be a trainer, so he gave that as the reasons for leaving. Now, he and I are going to work for a guy that has 6 trucks and a couple dedicated runs from Idaho to PA. He will start next week and I will start on the 17th (have 2 VA doc appts that can't be changed).

The few driving friends I have WON'T touch England with a 100 ft pole! They're just not a good company. They make their money from government grants for taking on students and running those students cheaply. An experienced driver wouldn't take .22 cpm in the regular fleet or the .38 cpm WallyWorld distribution runs as they have it so you get about $1500-2000/mth. My brother wanted a WallyWorld distribution run til he talked with a couple guys that do those jobs. It didn't have enough miles and the city traffic was nuts. So, I'm not sure you will find any success stories out there.

I'm sure there's a success story or two out there. After all, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Hello, let me share my success my name is Long Dong Ricky England. I just turned 21 and got my CDL. I went through CR ENGLAND and it was first class all the way. I lease my truck and bring home over $3,000.00 a week after expenses. I net over $300,000.00 a year. I can help you get a job at CR ENGLAND. I will give you the number for a recruiter, she doesn't care if you have felonies and if you smoke pot or you're an alcoholic, just sign the paper work and go to the school. Some times you get lucky and you don't get sent home. Leasing a truck is where the money is at. I'm also a trainer, I have 3 students in the truck right now. It's a little cramped, but the truck is always running. Normally after we deliver our load, we find another CRE company driver at a truck stop, we use a master key to open his truck, disconnect from his trailer and steal the load before he comes back out of the truck stop, gets mad, calls his DM and abandons the truck. People like this give CRE a bad name, they are quitters. I bet they come on here and complain how England stole their paychecks, they are just whiners because England wouldn't let them lease because they were retarded. I love my job. I have a 2015 Peterbilt 379 with a CAT C15 6NZ and an 18 speed. They have the coolest lease trucks on the road, just ask the recruiter and they will give you all the details. With my 6NZ, I get 9 MPG with 80k loads.

I asked a simple question and had a strict criteria, I got 1 answer and 1 person being incredibly sarcastic and mean

no wonder you all had bad experiences with England you can't follow simple instructions

I flat out said do not say "I showed up got my CDL made a few bucks and ran away"....and pretty much all the answers were "I made success when I left"

again, if you couldn't follow simple instructions thats why you didn't succeed at Ebgland

Actually I know a lot about CRE. After being a driver for 13 years, and growing up in trucking, you get to learn a lot. It's not hard to learn.

Are you trying to the justification for working there? I think it's pretty clear there are no success stories. I'm sure there's people happy there, but there's also people who are probably happy cleaning truck stop bathrooms.
