Armed carjacking suspects steal big rig in wild Los Angeles chase
Two armed carjacking suspects led Los Angeles deputies on a chaotic pursuit, stealing multiple vehicles – including a big rig – and driving the wrong way on freeways before fleeing on foot. The chase spanned multiple counties and freeways late Sunday night. The suspects remain at large after police lost sight of them under a freeway overpass.

Chinatown, Suspect Zero, Sons Hero and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was thinking that also. On the other hand the guy did make some turns without ripping the ### end of the trailer apart so got to give some credit I guess.

How do you get away from the police and they lose track of you if you’re fleeing in a big rig. That doesn’t seem possible.

Los Angeles & California have a no-chase policy of fleeing vehicles to reduce chances of crashes and injuries.Lennythedriver Thanks this.

And it probably didn’t help that the KW was powered by CNG/LNG(hardware installed behind the cab) or that tanker may have been hauling hazmat. If that truck wipes out the city would have more than just two truck jackers to deal with!
I don’t blame the truck driver. He probably thought “F*** this, this ain’t worth no 60-70 cents a mile!!”
Chinatown Thanks this.
