Read back a couple posts bro OP lists out the whole night and what actually got him in trouble. Somethin about runnin nekkid thru a truckstop eatin a peanut butter sammich and yellin 'YOLO!!!!!' at the top of his lungs or somethin

 

I've done that twice and never got arrested. Maybe because I was sober?

This is not the only wide spread myth about the FMCSA rules either. There are others. I'm just not going to hijack this thread to list some of them.

 

I will, my favorite is " it's illegal to log more than 15 hours in the sleeper". Or, "you have to show a hotel receipt if you logged your 10 off duty".

 

I have searched the FMCSA rules and have never found where its a rule that after so far its illegal to send a trucker out in a day cab. It may be there but I have never found it. I will buy this as a result of a collective bargaining agreement, but I have heard drivers swear its a law. If it is would someone please show it to me?

 

Oh, and the myth the US Marshals shut down a scale in Tennessee and took all the State DOT Officers out in handcuffs. The Marshal's Investigation into the California scales at Banning too.

 

Oh and I finally found out why some police and DOT Officers wear military clothes. Have you noticed all the truck drivers that are ex seal team 6 members and Green Berets? I don't blame them. I even heard a driver in a Truck Stop in Kansas tell me he had to stop at every open scale because his hands were registered as lethal weapons!
