Purchased my truck from Arrow in KC. They went above and beyond what they had to in fixing some issues I had with my truck after their 30 day warranty was up.

How was financing? Did you have to give a blood sample? Sign over your 1st born male?

:biggrin_25524: Pretty much lol. I put down a hefty down payment so I have a shorter note, but the interest rate is not pretty!

When I got my Pete from them It was ready to go and passed DOT inspection no problems. I picked out the Truck on Friday Picked it up on Wed and Saturday Night I left out for Van Buren AR to get it leased on.

I bought mine from Arrow of Atlanta. They also went beyond call of duty with me. I can not complain about the service I got from them nor would I hesitate to get another from them.

No problem. My credit was weak yet I got financed through through them. It wasn't with Arrow it self but through Transport Funding. Frieghtliner Select Trucks required me to have a Co Signer.

Are you sure? There ads sound like they use outside financing sources? Just wondering.

Yes, they did use outside with me. But they do work hard to get you financed.

Just throwing in my 2 cents, since I drive a Volvo with a Cummins ISX in it.....go with the Cummins, rather than the Volvo engine, as the latter is quite trouble-prone. Also, it's much easier to get a Cummins serviced. Volvo's dealers seem to have service issues, especially so with their own motor, as they either don't have the requisite parts, or their techs aren't adequately trained on the VED motor.

Personally, I love the Volvo truck. But if I were to buy one myself, i'd look long and hard at the dealer service network....and if I'm not too reassured about it, I'd go for a Kenworth T8 or a T6 ( not the W9, because of the set-forward axle....manouverability is a key issue for me ).

I'm with graymist on this one. I also drive a Volvo with the cummins ISX. I would stay clear of the Volvo VED motor for the same reasons he stated. They have some major reliability issues. Some are fine others have one problem after another and there is no specific rhyme or reason. There service network is also lacking ALOT! I have only had minor issues with this Volvo I have but it seems they do not stock many parts at all. Any part usually takes a few days to get it seems like. I would definitely look at a KW,Pete, Freightliner, or INT because of there service network before a Volvo. Other than that the Volvo is a pretty decent truck though.
