    Very good article from Bloomberg News with the numbers to back up the idea that recent increases in fatal accidents, including an increase in pedestrians is due to increased cell phone use.
    Not only are we prohibited from using them unless "handsfree", but many jurisdictions have the same laws that apply to cars. All being ignored.
    NHTSA doesn't track the numbers. I wonder if Apple, Samsung, AT+T, Verizon etc have made that possible.

    i had this image of a horror movie where phones are chasing people around and killing them lol run the phones are killing everyone! oh no the guns are coming too, run for your lives here come the prescription pills after us ahhhh! lol

    Smartphone is just a inanimate object.It's not killing anybody-the bonehead that uses it-is whom is at fault.
    Kinda like saying Guns kill people.?

    Try to ignore the typically sensationalist headline brought to you by the mainstream media. The underlying article and it's points are valid.

    Want to really undo some one. When you are around other people, maybe talking or some other close proximity activity. If you have a cell phone with you and it starts to alert of a call or something, just ignore it, don’t even look at it, let the call go to voice mail. Watch the others just twitch that you did not immediately look at your device.
