The wife has vacation time next week so were going to drive there. She has family near Scranton. Hopefully the Hotel they put me up in during orientation is one man to room. If thats the case she can visit with family during the day then come back when orientaion is through and spend the night with me.

Three things can happen on the room situation.

One, you will probably have a roomie
Two, you luck out and not have a roomie (don't expect it) every trainee I have ever picked up had a roomate.
Three, your room is paid for by Prime, but you pay an additional charge to have a room to yourself.

The third option happens all the time with new drivers (non trainees) who come to orientation with wives or girlfriends who are non-driver but will be riders with their husbands/significant other.

I'll take the NE, too! What I wouldn't give to get a bag of real bagels, a slice, fresh fruit, spaghetti with real marinara. Hell, I'd be happy just getting into a Timmy Horton's.

 

If you could get to NE without going through NYC, I would do that.
